Gain From The Mistakes Of Others

Do you want to buy cheap stuffs on ebay?Well here's one way to do it.Use FatFinger, type in the item you are searching for and it will create words that are misspelled.Use those words to search on ebay. This makes it easier for you to find those items that are listed with spelling mistakes.Saw it on TSS.

New GMail Tool

Would you like to check your GMail by pop3 access through one of the mail clients. If so,use GPopper. There used to be a software called PGTGM but it stopped working after google changed the way to login to their site. And he wasn't intereted in updating it.So Izzy developed Gpopper which seems to work fine. And the word we all love, free.

I Am Still Alive

Sorry for the lack of updates.I have been preety busy. You may ask?Busy with what?Well, studies.Even though school just started last week,i am trying to concentrate more on my studies this year and hopefully i will succeed(wish me luck).I will probably reduce my blogging. We'll see how well this goes.I am taking full load this semester and some of the courses are preety hard so the only way to do good is to start studying right from the start.Anyways visit often to see if i can keep myself away from blogging(i doubt it).Until next time, take care.

Registration?What Registration?

BugMeNot provides you login and password for "web sites that require compulsory registration and/or the collection of personal/demographic information (such as the New York Times)".I tried it out myself and it seems to work(atleast for now).I wonder what would happen if a lot of people uses the same login at the same time.

Helping The Small Blogs

There are by some estimates more than a million weblogs. But most of them get no visibility in search engines. Only a few “A-List” blogs get into the top search engine results for a given topic, while the majority of blogs just don’t get noticed. The reason is that the smaller blogs don’t have enough links pointing to them. But this posting could solve that. Let’s help the smaller blogs get more visibility!

This posting is GoMeme 4.0. It is part of an experiment to see if we can create a blog posting that helps 1000’s of blogs get higher rankings in Google. So far we have tried 3 earlier variations. Our first test, GoMeme 1.0, spread to nearly 740 blogs in 2.5 days. This new version 4.0 is shorter, simpler, and fits more easily into your blog.

Why are we doing this? We want to help thousands of blogs get more visibility in Google and other search engines. How does it work? Just follow the instructions below to re-post this meme in your blog and add your URL to the end of the Path List below. As the meme spreads onwards from your blog, so will your URL. Later, when your blog is indexed by search engines, they will see the links pointing to your blog from all the downstream blogs that got this via you, which will cause them to rank your blog higher in search results. Everyone in the Path List below benefits in a similar way as this meme spreads. Try it!

Instructions: Just copy this entire post and paste it into your blog. Then add your URL to the end of the path list below, and pass it on! (Make sure you add your URLs as live links or HTML code to the Path List below.)

Path List

1. Minding the Planet
2. Luke Hutteman’s public virtual MemoryStream
3. Mohammad.Abdulfatah, Chronicles Of
4. Anand M, DotNet From India
5. Teucer's Quiver
6. Bharath Ganesh, Making Technologies Interoperate
7. Richard Callaby's Blog
8. Peter's Blog
9. A Programmer In Training
10. (your URL goes here! But first, please copy this line and move it down to the next line for the next person).

(NOTE: Be sure you paste live links for the Path List or use HTML code.)

Google's Adsense

I just found out that Google is allowing people using their free blogger service to subscribe to adsense.Isn't that cool?So it got me thinking whether i should apply adsense to my blog.I know i dont get that many hits but it would be nice to get some extra dough that can help me pay my tuition. What do you all think?Should i sell out and put adsense?Opinions please?

Back To School

So there is only one day left before school starts. So how excited are you to go back to school?Personally i am glad to go back to school after working during the summer.Work's good but you start to hate it after a while especially working at a retail store.Working there motivates me to study harder, the reason being i dont want to be stuck there all my life.So let me know what's your opinion on this topic?
