Spaceless Email!

Apparently it seems all my email does not occupy any space in Google's vast/limitless webserver. I logged onto my gmail account to see if there are any emails in there, and this is what i see

You are currently using 0 MB (0%) of your 2774 MB.

And you would think that my inbox is empty, but this is not the case, i have just over a hundred email messages. Huh. Thats exactly my reaction. I am in no way complaining, just curious.
